Vision Board Workshops

Vision Boards have been the subject of a lot of publicity recently, but – at least in Britain – there hasn’t yet been much activity. The drawback when that happens is that all sorts of ideas are floated about what something is about, and the ideas tend to differ one from another. In fact, a Vision Board is very simple, at least in concept. It’s something you make that focuses on how you want to feel (and not on what you want). That’s so important, I’m going to say it again:

A Vision Board is not about what you want.
It should focus on how you want to feel
It isn’t about material things, although material things do come into it. It’s about feelings.

I run Vision Board Workshops, and I run them to blend with my work as a bereavement counsellor and a grief counsellor. They are about moving forward. Getting from how you feel now to how you want to feel. From where you are to where you want to be.

These workshops should appeal to anyone interested in personal development and growth. You may be unhappy or unfulfilled; you may have experienced loss, bereavement or some other form of trauma and want to create a new future; you may be experiencing one of life’s many transitions (important birthday; retirement; divorce; or perhaps you’re about to become an empty nester). You want to do something that combines the therapeutic with the creative. And there’s a very strong likelihood that you are at least thirty-five years old.

The workshops deal with the Law of Attraction, what it is and how to use it. It isn’t difficult to misinterpret the word “attraction” so let me make it clear: the attraction we are talking about is not concerned with attracting another person. I don’t produce love potions. The Law of Attraction says that, if you focus on negative thoughts, you will bring negative experiences into your life. And if you focus on positive thoughts, you will bring positive experiences. So that’s the attraction: what you’re attracting into your life is either positive or negative. Your thoughts are pure energy; used in the right way and, yes, personal relationships (which may or may not include romantic relationships) can be improved but so can your physical and mental health, your financial health, and your overall sense of well-being.

What your Vision Board should be about is the things AND THE FEELINGS you want to attract into your life. It should focus on what you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have.

As with my meditation workshops, my Vision Board workshops have themes. The theme may be New Beginnings. It may be Health. It may, regardless of what I said about feelings, be about Wealth. What you can be sure of is that it will dovetail with my other work. You, as a human, are a holistic entity. The counselling you need is holistic counselling.

Between Sessions

Between sessions, you will receive further benefits through my healing meditations, which you can listen to at home.  These meditations are designed to help improve your wellbeing even further. And because these are yours to keep, you continue to get further benefits long after the work between us has finished.

How You Will Work

Counselling and coaching work when you engage with it. It isn’t like being prescribed medication by your GP, that may work and may not but if it does it will be without your co-operation. How much you engage in the therapeutic process, will play a part in the positive changes you will experience.  I’m here to help you identify and clarify the changes that will turn your life into the life you want it to be.

Whether you’ve been through a painful loss or terrible experience, or simply sense that your life is not what it’s supposed to be – you can only progress if you access the place inside you where your strengths, positive energy and an incredible potential of powerful resources live. Without that access, it’s so easy to lose hope. To feel weary, listless, lost and ready to just give up. Very few people can free themselves from that feeling that way without help. Giving that help is what I do.

Yes, I’m ready to start . . .
